Wheat Free Provider’s beginnings |
Wheat Free Provider was started by Luisa Mitchell - initially out of frustration at the poor standard and high price of readily available gluten free food.
Being a food lover and diagnosed with Coeliac Disease seemed like a life sentence committed to the consumption of sub-standard food or simply “going without.”
After stumbling onto a few manufacturers who did get it right, and the urging of her husband - the business was born. The central idea being;
“There has got to be better food and a better way of getting gluten free food.”

The search for good quality gluten free food |
Two years of research have gone into this venture. We’ve trawled through food markets and searched for manufacturers and wholesalers throughout NSW and Victoria to find good quality gluten free products for you.
We not only tasted and tested our product range on people with Coeliac Disease, but on people with no intolerances at all - and we’ve had great feedback. After years of compromise we needed objective opinions to make sure our foods were right for you. |

We haven’t stopped searching for the best of gluten free food. Wheat Free Provider are continually foraging through markets and speaking to manufacturers to find new products to expand our range.
